Custom Mural Process
So you're interested in a mural. Great! You're in the right place!!
​
Murals are big projects, with lots of steps. And as a business owner myself, I'm all about demystifying the process to enable you to make the best, most informed decision possible for your business.

INITIAL INQUIRY | step one
The first step is your initial inquiry. As an artist, I can best use my creative superpowers to achieve your ultimate mural dreams when I have a clear idea of what you're looking for.
Before anything else, I'll ask you to send me:

A little about your business and the space

Photos and dimensions of your desired wall(s)

The level of desired mural (e.g. full wall, partial)

A color palette, if you have one in mind

Any other specific design requests or ideas

MOOD BOARD & BID | step two
After chatting a bit, once we both feel like we're on the same page, I'll put together a mood board and a bid for for the project. Once those are ready, I'll set up a phone call with you (my contact) and whoever will be writing the check, if that's not you!
The mood board will be a collection of colors, styles, and ideas that I think may be close to what you're looking for. And the bid will offer a few different price points and proposed options for your project. On the phone, we'll walk through both together so you can point out what you love most out of the mood board, and ask any questions about the estimate.

Most murals fall in the $25-$35 per square foot range, with a $2000 project minimum. And all estimates are good for 30 days, so you have plenty of time to think and dream about it.

BOOKING | step three
When you decide you'd like to move forward, you'll reach back out and let me know which option you'd like. We'll then confirm a timeline for the project (typically around 5-7 weeks), I'll send over my contract, and I'll ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit.

After I've receive the signed contract and deposit, it's finally time to start designing!

DESIGNING | step four
Because nailing the project every time is important to me, my rate includes three design options, and two rounds of revisions on your favorite. Normally, if we've communicated well that's more than plenty, but additional revisions are always available for an added fee.

INSTALLING | step five
After we've nailed down your design(s), I'll install your project, and we all get to celebrate!
At this point, any add-on options like live painting, licensing, or professional photography or videography will be delivered. Then you'll pay your final payment, and enjoy your brand new artwork!
